Are you building your 2025 reading list? I’ve got 5 Christian books that will help strengthen your faith and give you a better understanding of who God is and who you are in Christ! From growing into a Godly woman to surrendering every aspect of your life to God, these books are must-reads and will provide valuable wisdom for your faith journey. Now, if I could choose one book to read to deepen my faith, it would be the Bible. I make sure to prioritize God’s Word over any other book in my life as the Bible tells us in Hebrews 4:12,
“For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.”
The Bible is our source for living life according to God’s way. It is our love letter from Christ and truly is written by God through its various authors. Apart from the Bible, I believe all 5 of these Christian books can change your life.
What better time to cozy up with a good book and warm blanket on the couch than Winter time? It’s currently 20 degrees Fahrenheit and a winter wonderland outside while I am writing this post 🙂 In no particular order, below are 5 Christian books to add to your 2025 reading list:
1. “The Pursuit of God” by A.W. Tozer

The Pursuit of God By A.W. Tozer |
“The Pursuit of God” is a book, that if read with a heart of surrender, will change your life. Written in the late 1940s, A.W. Towzer wrote this book while on his knees in prayer. The book dives deep into what a relationship with God can look like. A.W. Tozer calls readers to desire God above all else and live a life fully surrendered to Him. It is a call to experience more of God’s presence.
A Quote From the Book:
“Jesus calls us to his rest, and meekness is His method. The meek man cares not at all who is greater than he, for he has long ago decided that the esteem of the world is not worth the effort.”
2. “Gentle and Lowly” by Dane Ortlund

A Quote From the Book:
“It is the most counterintuitive aspect of Christianity, that we are declared right with God not once we begin to get our act together but once we collapse into honest acknowledgment that we never will.”

5. “Let Me Be a Woman” by Elisabeth Elliot

Let Me Be a Woman, Mass Paperback Edition By Elisabeth Elliot |
What does it mean to be a Godly woman? This book is a compilation of letters from the famous missionary and author, Elisabeth Elliot, to her daughter Valerie. The letters discuss what true biblical femininity looks like. They are beneficial no matter your life stage. Whether single, engaged, or married, this book will help guide you to becoming the woman God created you to be.
A Quote From the Book:
“It is a naive sort of feminism that insists that women prove their ability to do all the things that men do. This is a distortion and a travesty. Men have never sought to prove that they can do all the things women do. Why subject women to purely masculine criteria? Women can and ought to be judged by the criteria of femininity, for it is in their femininity that they participate in the human race. And femininity has its limitations. So has masculinity. That is what we’ve been talking about. To do this is not to do that. To be this is not to be that. To be a woman is not to be a man. To be married is not to be single – which may mean not to have a career. To marry this man is not to marry all the others. A choice is a limitation.”

Now is the time to step into all God has for your life. He has an amazing purpose and journey for you. Let me know in the comments what you think about these Christian books!
