Hello! Welcome to “Still Dare to Hope” My name is Rebekah. This blog originally started in September of 2016 (on a different website) when I made my first post titled “Still Dare to Hope”.

At the time, I was going through a tough season in my life. I would spend hours at a time sitting in my parked car overlooking the river near my house reading the bible and talking to Jesus. My bible quickly went from looking gently used to looking like it got run over by a bus. I wore that thing out.

While sitting with God and me, I started to journal to Him. I began to write prayers to God and then just write. I read the verses from Lamentations 3:21-24 that say:

“Yet I still dare to hope
    when I remember this:

 The faithful love of the Lord never ends!
    His mercies never cease. Great is his faithfulness;
    his mercies begin afresh each morning. I say to myself, ‘The Lord is my inheritance;
    therefore, I will hope in him!'”

This sparked my desire to write about the true Hope we can have in the Lord. My desire for this platform is simple. I pray you are encouraged by the hope God so strongly desires for you.
