Jesus declared that he is the Bread of Life and when his Word goes out, it does not return void. Sometimes, the only thing we can do to get through hard times is feast on the Word of God. I’ve compiled a list of 10 encouraging bible verses that you can meditate on during hard times.
As the old hymn states,
“There is a balm in Gilead
To make the wounded whole
There is a balm in Gilead
To heal the sin-sick soul”
I pray these encouraging bible verses are like the balm of Gilead to your soul. Let God’s word wash over your wounded heart. He is with you at this very moment. Your God is there to comfort you and listen to your laments. Pour out your heart to your Creator, your King, your Lord, and your Heavenly Father.
